Raymond Russell grew up in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Born in 1967 to a middle class family, Raymond had a normal chihood, all thing considered.
He went to college and became a war correspondent for the Associated Press. The two most notable conflicts he covered are Nagorno-Karabakh War
and the Kosovo War. He also covered some conflict in the Middle East and Africa. On a routine trip to the Hindu-Kush Mountains he stumbled upon

normal silencing procedures, Raymond was recruited to work for the FOundation.
