So i had a ball doing the 455 run, and i want to try something a little…bigger this time. This may turn in to a multi-day one, depending on how things go, and the overall survival rate of people. Anyway, i plan to open it up on this coming Monday, the 25th, unless there's a lot of issues. if folks are down, please let me know somehow and i'll keep a eye out for you.

Gears would be an NPC, with whatever stats you want him to have.

Attention Staff: With Dr. Churney on leave and Dr. Oster [DATA EXPUNGED] all members of O-23 are urged to see Dr. Mary Solomon if they need care.

Re: Psychiatric Care by Maddy LMaddy L, 24 Jun 2011 22:53

You'd have to talk to Bright or Heiden about that, Gears. Fluffwise, we've had quite a few characters not start at Level 1 (Akane was a Level 2 from the get-go), but I'm not sure of the deal with making a Senior Staff-esqe or 05 character right out of the gate.

Oh, and response time is a little slow here, so you might get some faster results asking in OOC chat.

I am looking to start involvement in Active Duty. So, i went and started looking over the character sheets, when i suddenly thought "you know, it may not make sense to have Gears as a level 1". I'm not trying to overreach, and it's easily explainable via story if people would rather i start the same, but i was wondering if it would be alright to advance my Gears character a few levels. If so, all i'd need would be a modified stat point pool to reflect the level changes, and maybe a short equipment discussion.

I'm also thinking of having a Lev Shatterman character, but i'm less concerned about him being level-bumped. Any assistance with this would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

Thanks Mac, hopefully this means less scraping of charred corpses from offices.

Twice this past week, we have had instances of people using a power drill in preparing to hang a picture on the wall drilling straight into the power conduit. This not only results in electrocution of the erstwhile interior decorator, but also results in damage to the power grid, possible fires, power loss and containment breaches. If you *must* find a way to kill yourself. try something less damaging to the site. I understand that 682 likes Worcestershire sauce.

If you want to hang up a picture, we've got the adhesive-backed hooks available.

Thank you,

James Guffin, Director of Engineering.

Now you guys should use this link.

http://clay.blorgblorgbl.org/activeduty/Active%20Duty%20GM%20Aids.zip

It's the same thing but on my private webspace, and Sabit has an FTP account that points there so it'll be easier for her to change and upload files there than it would be on MegaUpload.

Cheers!

To show my appreciation for the various things the GMs do to basically sit down and tell us cool stories (bro) almost every, I've put together a .rar file that contains most of the Character information. This is just intended as a reference so GMs don't have to constantly switch tabs and shit on this site.

The meat here for now is a spreadsheet that details all rolls a character should be making in any situation. I'll update this again with all the character sheets soon.

Hey all, Jack here. Just posting to say that my laptop had to be sent in for repairs because I think the recent thunderstorm destroyed the motherboard. It may take up to four weeks for it to get back to me, so I won't be on IRC much if at all.

To the GMs: Don't move my character to inactive please, I'll be back as soon as I can.

A 5 or 6 pack of small, polyurethane stress balls, preferably red in color. One or two "novelty" stress balls or similar stress relieving items (see attached photo) for more distracted patients would also be nice.

Run's going down on the 27th, 6-11pm EST. Reply if you can attend.

DO IT. I'll be around. Wait, no I won't. Unless it's the 19th. Then I'll be there.

Hey, doc. I need help. Of your persuasion. Talk to me about it next time you see me.

I am thirding this suggestion.

EDIT: Until such a page is created, I might as well use this thread to schedule runs.

I'm thinking of doing one on either the 19th or the 20th, from about 7-10pm EST. If anyone is available, drop me a reply.

This would really help the guys in different timezones, I think. I'm all for it.

Aren't you pissed that you missed [Extremely Important Run]? Or how about when there was nobody there for [The Run That You Worked Very Hard On Planning]? In the opinions of myself and a lot of people in the chat, we need some sort of run schedule. Maybe post that there will be a run in this thread and then give a time and date (then give a link in the chat). We could also, as Sabitsuki suggests, create a page on the wiki of scheduled runs that is updated consistently. Thoughts?
